Northwest Tack Consignment LLC was started by Washington local Ashley Richeson, who saw a need to give local equestrians a place to sell their used tack year round. Ashley grew up volunteering with many nonprofits and assisting with tack sales. As a horse crazy teen, she pored over every tack catalog that she could get her hands on. Her vast knowledge of tack finally found a use when she opted to open the store to all disciplines of riding. Her small business accounting degree has also proven to be incredibly useful, as there are a lot of numbers to run with over 4600 consignors, and selling over 1.4 million dollars of tack in 2025 alone!
