The Maxx AP/D is amazingly versatile. The seat is wide, supportive and comfortable with a wide twist and dished cantle. The sleek European flap design allows the rider's legs freedom whether doing flat work, light dressage work, trail riding or small jumps. The padded flap/knee roll has a nice “pocket” for the knee to mold into and a padded thigh roll for added support. The “V” billet system hugs your horse, providing stability while allowing the horse freedom of movement and improved rider leg contact. (This is S-W's advertising manager's favorite saddle!) The Maxx AP/D is made of rich full grain cowhide with bridle leather skirts.  Flaps are softly padded front and rear with durable bridle leather center. The two-tone black and Havana style make an attractive, unique design and allows you to matching tack in either color.

• Steel & wood spring trees with strong overlapping steel head plates allow tree adjustment many times as your horse muscles and matures or if you get a different horse.

• “Fired” (pre-stretched) pure linen webbing insures that the seat never sags - you sit in a “hammock” of web and never hit the steel bars of the tree.
• Deeply recessed stirrup bars nearly eliminate stirrup leather bulge under the skirts.
